(Scroll down for the Inventory of Dies)

A new way to cut quilt pieces quickly and accurately,
now at the Petoskey District Library.

Future demonstration dates at Petoskey District Library will be listed in this space, as they become available. When a date is set, be aware that no registration is required. Just show up in the "Make It" space downstairs in the Library and bring fabric for a project that you want to cut out.

It's fast, accurate -- and kind of expensive for just one person to buy. But by pooling resources with the Petoskey District Library, we've helped to put one within reach of many Guild members.

The Library staff is excited about teaching quilters how to safely use the Accuquilter.

Accuquilt Die Inventory

(What's a "die"?
A die is a specialized tool used in manufacturing industries to cut or shape material mostly using a press. Like molds, dies are generally customized to the item they are used to create. Products made with dies range from simple paper clips to complex pieces used in advanced technology -- and quilting!

This list will grow
as more dies become available.

Total dies as of 10/24/19

And we have some! Below is a list of dies thus far purchased for use with the Accuquilt cutter at the Library. Hopefully, other dies will be donated by those who use the cutter. One way to accomplish this is to pool resources. Divided amongst three, four or six quilters, the purchase prices become much more manageable.
