Pics from February 2015 Guild Meeting

Tips on thread and machine maintenance
from Petoskey Sewing Center.
They gave away gift certificates and brought some
nice machines for Guild members to test drive.
Though our December (2014) and January (2015) meetings were canceled due to winter conditions, the word was out that the first three months of our new year were to be dedicated to "UFO" progress. "UFO" means "UnFinished Object", something that everyone has at least one of. (Yes, I know -- the preposition.) The pics below are of members bold enough to show their UFO projects and promise they will be finished by springtime --or at the very latest, summer.

Leftover from the "Stack and Whack" era.

Show and Tell

Most of the Show and Tell time was given over to the UFO Projects, but when someone spied Lois Hart's latest creation, we made her show it. This is a crib quilt for someone's baby shower. Lucky baby!!
This is a huge, lined and padded bag with multiple compartments and pockets. Lois said she made it in her Bernina class.
