June 13, 2025 - Summertime Counted Cross Stitch with Katie Nolan

We know we are all about quilting, but most of us have tried lots of other crafts/arts as well. Have you tried, or maybe thought of trying, counted cross stitch? Now is your opportunity to either take it up again or try it for the first time.

Katie Nolan will be teaching Summertime Counted Cross Stitch class on Friday, June 13, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Genesis Church just north of Charlevoix (next to the AmericInn. Class is limited to 15 attendees.

Katie's company is Count Your Stitches Designs; she also has an Etsy shop under the same name. She designs counted cross stitch patterns that resemble quilt blocks – incorporating her love for quilting into her counted cross stitch pieces. Katie was the featured artist for American Patchwork and Quilting for 2024 & has worked collaboratively with Sheri McConnell, a Moda designer, to design cross stitch patterns that look like Sheri’s quilt patterns. Katie’s patterns were also featured in Primitive Gatherings monthly boxes for two years.
